Summer is here! That means I have time to read for fun again! I’m already in the process of reading The Immortal Rules, and hope to finish it in the next day or two. Really need to clear out my NetGalley inventory so I don’t get too backed up.
MY GOALS:
- Finish all outstanding books from NetGalley. (I tend to request a bunch at once and then take forever to get to them!)
BOOKS TO READ:
The Immortal Rules by Julie Kagawa.
The Summer My Life Began by Shannon Greenland.
One Moment by Kristina McBride.
What I Didn’t Say by Keary Taylor.
Goddess Interrupted by Aimee Carter.
Pieces of Us by Margie Gelbwasser.
Six books seems a little ideal, but I’m going to give it my all!
In my mailbox
Goddess Interrupted by Aimee Carter.
The Summer My Life Began by Shannon Greenland.
Still haven’t gotten The Immortal Rules, but I did manage to get these.
The Goddess Test
Aimee Carter
SUMMARY (from Amazon):
It’s always been just Kate and her mom—and her mother is dying. Her last wish? To move back to her childhood home. So Kate’s going to start at a new school with no friends, no other family and the fear her mother won’t live past the fall.
Then she meets Henry. Dark. Tortured. And mesmerizing. He claims to be Hades, god of the Underworld—and if she accepts his bargain, he’ll keep her mother alive while Kate tries to pass seven tests.
Kate is sure he’s crazy—until she sees him bring a girl back from the dead. Now saving her mother seems crazily possible. If she succeeds, she’ll become Henry’s future bride, and a goddess.
