Book jewelry.

So I came across this little shop on etsy, called Mini Books Jewelry. And approximately two seconds later I was squealing over the absolutely adorable little literary charms.

I’m not normally one for charm bracelets, but these are too cute to resist. From John Green’s books to Catcher in the Rye to the Hunger Games trilogy to How to Kill a Mockingbird, this shop has so many charms. They even take custom orders, so you can have any book you want made into a charm.

I think there’s something appealing about miniature trinkets, especially ones you can wear. And when you’ve got the added combo of books, it’s all the better.

Call me crazy, but I’m a book and jewelry junky.

Have you ever found any cute, book-related trinkets?

  1. Those are just too cute! :-)

  2. Very cool! I’ve also seen a bookcase charm. Which I still kind of want, if I could find it again.

These are very cute. I’d love a Harry Potter one, to show my immense love for it! :P Thanks for sharing :).

Omigosh these are great! We haven’t “found” any book jewelry or trinkets this cute, but we do love these, as well as the art-made-from-books that you sometimes see posted on blogs/tumblrs. (Stuff cout out of pages or made out of pages like origami.)

I like the art made from books, too. Especially the posters, or even more innovative things like place mats and such.

I absolutely love etsy for exactly this reason! There are soooo many book and fandom related things that I just WANT SO BAD! Sadly I spend most of my time actively avoiding etsy, so that I won’t hate myself for wanting things I can’t afford.

While the prices on etsy are typically expensive (+ shipping), it’s the shipping time that really kills me. I hate when I want something and then it says it won’t be delivered for maybe 4-6 weeks. But really this bothers me because I’ve wanted to order things as gifts for friends, and the shipping times have prevented me from doing so.

Welcome
